Miles for Meso 5K Race in Alton, Ill. Features $6,200 in Prize Money

The 3rd Annual Miles for Meso 5K Race & 2K Walk â nationally sponsored and locally hosted Sept. 24 in Alton, Ill., by the Simmons Firm â Â has expanded to include $6,200 in prize money for top performers to build awareness of mesothelioma, a rare cancer caused by asbestos exposure. Â Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
